"Staggeringly versatile and gifted" -- Louisville Eccentric Observer (LEO) Born into a musical family in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, Scott Moore began violin studies in New York at age four. Now, at 24, he has been violin soloist with the Louisville Orchestra, Owensboro Symphony, and the University of Louisville Symphony, with whom he performed the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. In 2009 Scott was viola soloist with Bourbon Baroque. He rang in 2010 in a hotel room in China, on tour most of the winter and spring with the Hollywood Concert Orchestra. Since plunging headlong into the world of non-classical music, Scott has performed and recorded with a wide array of musicians across almost every genre. Through an ongoing process of trial and error (he currently holds a Master's from the school of hard knocks), he has begun to earn a reputation as a thoughtful, passionate, and original instrumentalist and composer, with a musical voice and vision informed by a variety of styles but ultimately unique and personal. |
